Ripple Co-Founder to Donate $10M in XRP to Kamala Harris
In a rather surprising move considering the current voter landscape, Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen announced that he is donating $10 million in XRP to the Kamala Harris campaign. With the US presidential elections nearing, the Democratic candidate is set to get a boost from Larsen as she seeks to overcome Donald Trump in her bid for the US presidency this year. In a post to X (formerly Twitter), Larsen noted that the decision was made to ensure Democrats “have a new approach to tech innovation, including crypto.” Thereafter, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse voiced his support for the decision. Specifically, he noted that the US must be immediately focused on pivoting from “the [current] administration’s misguided war on crypto.” JUST IN: Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen says he is donating $10 million in $XRP to Kamala Harris. pic.twitter.com/W4V6G88K4S — Watcher.Guru (@WatcherGuru) October 21, 2024 Also Read: FET Skyrockets with Kamala Harris’s AI and Cry...
