Ethereum Network Increases Block Gas Limit under PoS Mechanism for the First Time link The Ethereum network has successfully increased the block Gas limit for the first time under the PoS mechanism after receiving support from over 50% of the validators. Data shows that the Gas limit has broken through from 30 million to 31.5 million, and is expected to eventually be adjusted to 36 million. This adjustment has been achieved without a hard fork, which has enhanced the network’s transaction capacity. It’s worth noting that the last adjustment of the Ethereum Gas limit was in 2021, when it was raised from 15 million to 30 million. 2.
